1. Information DB97531 accesses
Google sign-in and Drive synchronization are optional. If you choose to connect your Google account, DB97531 requests access only to the Google Drive application-data scope (drive.appdata). This permits DB97531 to create, read, update, and delete its own private application data in your Google Drive appDataFolder.
DB97531 does not request general access to your Google Drive files, folders, photos, documents, email, contacts, or other Google content.
2. How Google user data is used
The Google Drive permission is used solely to provide the cloud-sync features that you choose to use in DB97531. Currently, this includes synchronizing your saved Favorites between browsers or devices signed in with the same Google account.
The private DB97531 data file is designed to store application data such as Favorites and related synchronization metadata. If additional DB97531 features such as Props or Routines are later added to cloud sync, this policy will be updated as appropriate before materially different use of Google user data.
3. Where your data is stored
- Locally: DB97531 may store application data in your browser, including IndexedDB, local storage, or session storage, so that the application can work efficiently and, where supported, continue to work offline.
- Google Drive: when cloud sync is enabled, DB97531 stores its private synchronization file (currently named
db97531-data.json) in your Google DriveappDataFolder. This area is not a normal user-visible Drive folder and is intended for application-specific data. - OAuth access tokens: the browser may keep a Google access token for the active browser session so that synchronization can operate. DB97531 does not place a Google OAuth client secret in its public browser code.
4. Sharing and sale of data
DB97531 does not sell Google user data. Google user data obtained through Google APIs is not used for advertising, retargeting, credit decisions, or data-broker purposes. DB97531 does not transfer Google user data to third parties except where necessary to provide a feature you explicitly request, for security purposes, or where required by law.
5. Google API Services User Data Policy
DB97531's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Data retention and deletion
Your local DB97531 data remains in your browser until you remove it, clear the site's browser data, or use an applicable delete feature. Cloud-synchronized DB97531 data remains in your Google account's application-data storage until it is deleted by DB97531 as part of an action you request, you revoke/remove the application's stored data through Google where available, or the application data is otherwise removed from your account.
Disconnecting Google from DB97531 stops the current browser session from synchronizing, but it does not necessarily delete existing local or cloud data.
7. Security
DB97531 uses HTTPS on its production website and requests the minimum Google Drive permission required for its synchronization feature. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but reasonable measures are used to limit access to the data needed for DB97531 functionality.
8. Your choices
You can use DB97531 without connecting a Google account. You can disconnect your Google account from within DB97531 and can also manage or revoke DB97531's Google permissions through your Google Account's connected-app settings.
